David Rea was born in Northern Ireland and saved from a life of sin at 24 years of age. Very soon thereafter
he started gathering his companions into a school room on Sunday mornings where he read the Scriptures
and prayed with them. First one was saved, this was very soon followed by others and the numbers
continued to increase. He laboured in many parts of the U.K. preaching in tents, halls and open spaces.
During his last twenty years he laboured mostly in large tents until at times he had up to 3,000 people.
Thousands heard the Gospel message and hundreds were saved.

The Pioneer Series
This series consists of nine books. The first eight being reprints of early pioneers who laboured faithfully for
the Lord, the last, Frank Knox was called home in 1975. The books are all interesting, informative and
inspiring. Often, in adverse conditions, they worked on and souls were saved. Some of their experiences and
methods were unique and so different to what would be acceptable today. Truth is often stranger than fiction.
None of these books is fiction.
